After that dreadfully cold winter we’ve had, March means spring, and all of a sudden hundreds of flowers are in season. I just love delicate pinks and greens together. Our Senior Designer, Abbie, presented her mood board on our blog back in January – look out for her new mood board coming up in the next few weeks. She used soft pinks and mossy greens to freshen up a feminine bedroom for spring. We loved it so much we made it our London Showroom window!
Pretty spring flowers bring softness, intrigue, and of course a wonderful fragrance to any room as well as enhancing already existing colours and textures. I simply love little antique vases and jugs that you can fill with all kinds of wild flowers for a very natural look. I visited my favourite flower shop The Secret Garden in Thames Ditton, Surrey, which was absolutely full of a magnificent array of flowers in the lead up to Mother’s Day. With two weeks to Easter, what better way to decorate your home than with fresh, seasonal flowers. The pretty yellows, pinks and blues signal that spring is truly here. From Narcissus and Tulips to Cowslips and Cherry Blossom, there is a huge amount to choose from.
